How does Pitt county sadd implement this in our program?

Pitt County SADD teaches its students to encourage themselves and others to be constantly alert while driving. It is important to understand that even the smallest distraction can have a major impact on your life and those riding with you. Whether you are a new driver or learning how to drive it is important to start good driving habits. Many people like to listen to music while they drive; however, it is important to make sure that the volume is not too high and that you are not changing songs with your phone. Also, many people get phone calls or texts while they are driving and though Bluetooth is available in most cars now, talking or talk texting while driving is still a major distraction. Social media plays a major role in the world now, but it is important for people to recognize that it shouldn’t take priority over our safety. So the next time you are driving or riding somewhere, remind yourself and others that no text, call, or post is worth risking your life.
