VISION, MISSION, AND VALUES

Educators are innovators.

SADD’s mission is to empower young people to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them throughout their daily lives. - SADD Nation

For middle and high school students it can be hard to navigate all the social opportunities that they are given. It is important for all the students in our community to be educated on the dangers of society as well as have access to the right information. Students today face challenges such as mental health, substance abuse, social media safety, and road safety. Pitt County SADD educates its students on how to handle situations and be a leader to others who might be facing some of these challenges.

Almost every middle and high school has an active SADD Chapter that focuses on educating students and helping them grow as leaders in the community.

Local chapters discuss the following:

  1. Mental Health

  2. Driver/Road Safety

  3. Social Media Safety

  4. Substance Abuse
